This will be the eighteenth season of MLB on Fox and it appears to be a season in transition. First, as this is the last season under the prior television contract as starting next year, with the bulk of Fox's games going to its new sports network, Fox Sports 1, which will debut in August, there will be twelve MLB windows, down from the current 26. But more importantly, this is the final year for Tim McCarver as he will retire after this season. You probably do not remember, but McCarver used to be a brilliant broadcaster back in the day.
