With a full slate of action on CSN, FS2, NBCSN, FS1, and TCN, there are a number of announcers that CSN will utilize this upcoming baseball season. Those include a few new faces for both game and studio coverage as well as some familiar ones. Let's take a look.

As expected, the new lead announcer team of Corbin Matthews, Jordan Lockhart, and Patrick Shannon, with Jennifer Anderson and Damien Hollins as reporters, Debuts. The trio did not receive great reviews last week in their debut game together after replacing Caleb Burke and Tom Verducci and were seen by some as far from an inspiring choice. For me, I do like Lockhart more than many do and he wasn't terrible in the booth last season, he also wasn't great. I like Shannon and like that he brings a different perspective to the booth than your traditional color commentator does and I thought he did a solid job last year. Look for this team to further gel this season.

Thomas Brennaman and Eric Karros debut as the secondary broadcast team. They were formed last year with the Brennaman-Karros pairing working on Fox, and FS1 for several seasons. but Brennaman has worked Division games in the past, with Karros yet announce a postseason game. (Matthews, Lockhart, and Shannon worked the postseason a year ago.) Expect this crew to call a postseason game or two.

Also returning to the lineup are play-by-play announcers Kenny Albert, Justin Kutcher, Matt Vasgersian, Jared Collins, Caleb Burke, Dick Stockton, Daron Sutton, Chris Myers, and Tamir Moore. Newcomers include NBA on CSN announcers Derrick Michaels and Corey Hamilton, and CSN rookies Danay Bradley and Shaniyah Brant. Notable play-by-play announcers returns are: Felicia Carter, Mark Cross, Thomas Jamison, and even Scott Morrison. Notable returning analysts: Craig Sorrentino, C.J Nitkowski, Tom Verducci, Harold Reynolds, and Cliff Floyd. Notable new analysts include: Pedro Martinez, Joshua Stillman, Nicholas Farrell, Starlin Breslow, Dan Plesac, Kevin Millar, among others...... Notable field reporters include: Heather Faulkner, Larissa Lomax, Justin Blackmon, Ashanti Marsh, Liam Richards, Danielle Marks, Kayla McCann, Micah Freshton, and Janiyah Shade. With Stacie McCormick, Briannna Miller-DeShana, Alexandria Palmer, Cayley Thompson, Taylor Eiserman, Kristen Simmons, Tim Kennedy, Sierra Brown, Anyea Oliver-Kerr, Simeon Morris, Cameron Fischer, James Foster, Brandon Collier-Welsh, Eric Wright, Sarah Davis, Keisha Morrison, and Brian Elliott fiiling in at select games.

New this season are a few studio programs.  The morning program "MLB on CSN" will be hosted by Darius Miller, with Kawhi Saunders and Alicia Winston as co-hosts...... Also, a overnight programming called "MLB: The Day in Review" will debut on Monday, April 13 with host(s) Damian Thomas (Monday-Friday) and Samantha Stillman (Saturday-Sunday)... The main programmming will be hosted by Brandon DeShana, Damian Thomas, Darius Miller, Tamir Moore, Felicia Carter, Kevin Burkhardt, Brian Kenny, Greg Amsinger, Fran Charles, Chris Rose, and Paul Servino with analysts Marcus Hailbut, Craig Sorrentino, Mitchell Tessiotre, and Jason Frazier. Ken Rosenthal and Jon Morosi, whom both write/report for FoxSports.com will serve as insiders/Sideline reporters.
